Application Requirements
– English: Native level
– Japanese: Elementary (greeting level) (welcome)
– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– 12 years of education where English was the main medium of instruction.
However, you do not need to come from a country where English is the native language to be an ALT. As long as your educational history had the above-mentioned 12 years (such as attending a bilingual school or living abroad), you can be eligible to work as an ALT too.
