Biography

Instructor Hideaki Tsuruta was an animator and art director.
He drew and produced numerous animated works such as Space Battleship Yamato, Astro Boy, Aim for the Ace, Little Nemo, and Doraemon.
He also designed 2D and 3D video games for platforms such as SEGA, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy. He currently works as a freelance animator and illustrator.

He served as an instructor at Digital Arts TOKYO Academy (April 2002 – January 2012), SHOBI Professional Training College (October 2000 – March 2002), and YOYOGI ANIMATION Academy Inc. (October 1997 – September 2000).
His students have worked on titles such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and several Studio Ghibli films.
