MDJ Study Cafe

The teachers are really nice, and you can talk about things you don’t normally talk about during class. It’s kind of like getting extra classes each week, which is good value.

I like getting to ask Japanese people more about Japan and Japanese culture, and also meeting other students who are currently studying Japanese.

These cafes are a great way to use lessons you've learned from your teacher in a more casual setting.

Everyone in the room is very patient and is willing to help you learn other words and phrases you normally wouldn't use while in your lessons.

They are worth checking out and a great way outside of lessons to learn Japanese, as well as discuss other topics such as anime, manga, music and culture. (Cody)

Every teacher I meet in the Study Cafe is very helpful, and I always have an engaging and fun time. In the cafe, I get extra practice with the words and grammar I learn in my lessons, and they also answer any questions I have about the content. Because they each have a unique style of teaching, I learn something new every time I go!
