Manga de Japanese (hereinafter referred to as “MDJ”) agrees to the following terms between MDJ and the student upon enrollment.
MDJ will provide the desired educational instruction services to the MDJ student while the student will commit to making the effort to the improvement of their language skills.
Payment of tuition from the MDJ student to MDJ is due on the 28th of the preceding month. If payment is not received by the 15th of the following month, a late fee may be assessed. Payment must be made by credit card or through PayPal to the name and address specified by MDJ. (If the 28th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the due date will be the next business day.)
An MDJ student is required to pay a $25 enrollment fee upon joining MDJ. However, if a student joins through a referral from another current MDJ student, a special introductory fee of $12.50 applies. Additionally, if siblings wish to attend together, only one enrollment fee will be charged per household. If enrollment occurs during a free enrollment promotion, the enrollment fee will be waived.
The duration of the contract is from the day the MDJ student enrolls until, in accordance with the provisions below, the day the MDJ student officially withdraws.
To withdraw, please send a notice of withdrawal to the class supervisor by email no later than the 22nd of the month preceding your intended withdrawal date.
5-1. In the event that an MDJ student causes damage to MDJ, the student shall be held liable for such damage. Unless there is gross negligence or fault on the part of MDJ, the student may not seek compensation or damages for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or theft occurring within or outside MDJ facilities.
5-2. MDJ reserves the right to request the withdrawal of any student who is deemed disruptive, whether inside or outside the classroom.
5-3. In the event of any changes or revisions to MDJ’s business model and/or tuition, MDJ will seek prior approval from the student.
5-4. Students may not seek compensation, claim damages, or raise objections regarding MDJ’s academic counseling and/or curriculum content.
5-5. MDJ students are required to comply with MDJ’s rules and must willingly accept the services provided.
